Boys' U13 v Holmwood House
2nd A v Holmwood House A
Won 2-1 Goals by Harry N
In a closely contested first half, Felsted played some excellent team hockey and importantly gave Holmwood House little time to settle. Once again Cameron C provided some impressive crosses from the right wing, one of which was put away by Harry N. An early goal in the second half from the same combination should have settled the nerves, but Holmwood House scored with 10 minutes to go making an exciting finish. Felsted hung on for their 3rd straight win of the season.
2nd B v Holmwood House B
Won 5-0
After a slightly untidy first half, Felsted led by 2 -0 with goals from Joe H and Harry D. The team kept their positions better in the second half and dominated the play. Further goals from Hamish U and another two from Joe H secured a deserved 5 - 0 victory. The 2 B team remain unbeaten with 3 wins from 3 matches.
5th A VII v Holmwood House
This was a much better performance from the A team. They played with structure and had some really good passages of play, showing some good passing and ball control. They were particularly good in the opening part of each half when they managed to score their goals. However, lapses in concentration in terms of defending meant that Tom B in goal needed to be on form to save us on a number of occasions. Still, a good result.
5th B VII v Holmwood HouseA much more solid performance from the B team. They played well and one or two of the boys particularly showed some great stick work, working their way through the opposition defence. We took our chances and scored some well worked goals. However, we still need to work on our dynamism, positional play and defence.
